1053 Gallery is pleased to present GUIDED BY VOICES, curated by Lindsay Comstock and Monte Wilson. The exhibition explores the spiritual dimensions of creativity through the lens of seven artists working in various mediums: Theresa Daddezio, Steve Ellis, Jo Nigoghossian, Pareesa Pourian, Caroll Taveras, Paul Weil, Rodney White. The exhibition acknowledges that the act of artmaking is not solely an intellectual and emotional pursuit, but a sacred process wherein the artist opens to and creates from an expanded reality. Each piece in the collection reflects the artist’s journey of translating their inner guidance to communicate universal truths. The works range from imaginative collages to ethereal paintings infused with channeled messages from beyond.
